What is it all about?

It's not about the money!!! It's certainly not about the stuff. The resume. The car. The wardrobe. The diamonds. The status. The fancy house. It's about the air. The one thing that we all literally share and breathe in each and every moment - without thought.

I recently learned about a lung disease called Pulmonary Fibrosis and out of deep respect for the incredible human being afflicted and his family I will not mention names. This is a disease where there is no cure and takes away the one that thing that is so automatic, so natural and taken for granted - which money can't buy, at least not for long.

So what is it all about? The air, the air that we breathe. So breathe deep, cherish the moment and the next one and the next one. Expand, breathe in all that we can hold. Breathe out compassion, love and understanding in all that we do and to all those that we meet.

And for anyone who is reading this today or tomorrow, please take a moment to breathe and when you exhale, please send that breathe to him and his family and take a few more and send it to whomever or wherever it is needed.

With much gratitude, love and a deep breath - Lori

Thank you Lori for reminding me of all the things to be grateful for. Breathing is a wonderful example.
Big breath. Thank you.

Hey Lori
This is a wonderful message you left for all to think about life and just how short it can be, I am coming upon the one year anniversary of my husband Bruce passing, and right after we were married, he made this quote and stuck it on the wall in his office, “Life is too short, love all those around you, as you would wanted to be loved” it’s so very true, life is way too short, and we all should stop and think about all we have been blessed with, our families, love, and life, I used to say I want to leave a mark in the world so everyone can remember me, and then over the past few years, I thought about what I said, and remembered that, anytime you touch someone with your being, your soul, you have left your mark!
And I guess this has gave me more wisdom and perception of life and the souls compassion,
I wish your friend and his family as well as you, God’s mighty speed, and his marvelous blessings, I truly believe we are all Angels in training; we just have to find our wings.
Your friend, Viveca…

Thank you Lori for being. Thank you for the reminder. And thank you for sharing. Breathe in. Breathe out. Surrender. Allow. Expand. This is all that is.

May we have compassion for ourselves and others. Bless you.

Wow....thank you for the reminder. Breathing is very good. I have been paying more attention to it, and appreciating the power of breathe as we prepare for the birth of our baby! Breathe will be one of the tools that helps us to welcome this new life into the world :)And from his first breathe to his last, may we help him learn to be grateful for the opportunity!

I just reread this posting. I had almost forgotten that through all the loss and all the changes I need to keep breathing for myself first before I can be of any use to anyone else....through my tears I thank you.
